History

Princom was established in 1985 by Ari Pefkos, to bring technology solutions to businesses core operations.

A brief outline historically of some of our undertakings:

  • 1986 - PC implementations, multi-user systems on the UNIX, XENIX and the Novell LAN platforms.
  • 1987 - Development division established to cater for bespoke software engineering for manufacturing, distribution and retail industries.
  • 1988 - Association with Accsys, Nexus, Scalar and Arrow over the years to bring accounting solutions to medium sized businesses across Australia.
  • 1990 - Systems engineering and consulting for complex large scale PC network installations. Specialising in fault tolerant environments
  • 1997 - Development of distributed inventory management systems for supply chain efficiency utilising the internet and browser technologies.
  • 1998 - Offshore development centre established to cater for increased demand of our ecommerce solutions.
  • 1998 - Browser enabled inventory management system, integrating to various accounting systems.
  • 2000 - Development of browser enabled systems for food engineering, event management, sports event management along with other industry specific software development projects.
  • 2004 - Development for Princom ventures to enable industry communities to better manage extensive product content via the internet, whilst at the same time bringing definitive product search via the internet to the consumer.
  • 2007 - Development of self-serve advertising solutions for content distribution to online, mobile and public digital mediums. Streamed content connecting businesses with customers locally and globally.
  • 2008 - Development of apps-based console utilising real-time feeds to combine search, request and messaging functions. Integrating end-user search and response via real-time communication.
  • 2009 - Contact management software delivered via Cloud computing to any browser enabled device.
  • 2010 - Combining the power of direct mail with online targeting for unmatched local sales for business.
  • 2011 - Dynamically enabling business to sell online with unmatched efficiency and at an unparalleled price point.
